One of the first wines to be designated DOCG, the top tier of the country’s wine classification, Brunello di Montalcino is regarded by many wine critics around the world as one of the best of Italy.
La Poderina Brunello di Montalcino 2013 is full-bodied and well-balanced on the palate, its bouquet characterised by dark cherry fruit, blackberry, spice and licorice. Robert Parker Wine Advocate rates it a strong 94-pointer.
